Remote Support

Using remote support tools, many computer problems can be resolved quickly by just picking up the phone and giving us a call.

We will walk you through installing the secure application that will allow us to connect remotely to your PC or Mac and resolve your issue.

Some things to note about remote support:

  • Your computer will need to be able to boot into the operating system and have internet connectivity for remote support to work.
  • After the remote session is finished, we will not be able to connect to your computer again without you approving the connection first.
  • Not every issue can be solved via remote support. We will advise you at the time if we think we need to come onsite or have your computer brought to our workshop
  • You should only ever use remote support tools with someone you know and trust. Be wary of someone phoning you and telling you they are from Microsoft, your bank or your internet service provider and asking you to install remote access software as it is very likely an attempt to scam you.

Remote support is charged in 15 minute blocks, at $25 per block. After we have resolved your issue you will be emailed an invoice.
